The Hitachi Energy USA manufacturing plant in Mt. Pleasant, PA, is a global leader in the manufacturing of High Voltage transformers. The 5,000 s.f. new construction was a blend of preengineered building shell with custom requirements at the exterior shell with interior requirements. Two overhead 5 ton cranes support the transportation of 16' tall transformers into their respective testing bays. Steel channel concrete embeds serve as floor anchors for the testing equipment. WAY coordinated with the Hitachi Energy Facilities department to incorporate this new addition's site paraments and requirements alongside the existing manufacturing plant, ensuring seamless flow of product.
