Scope: 6,300 S.F.
Conversion of an empty core and shell tenant space in Cranberry Mall, to a full-service restaurant and lounge. The requested design goals were to create an intimate upscale dining experience but offered blend of openness, family friendly atmosphere with a highly visible bar that will attract after work locals as a destination venue.
Design incorporates intense equipment parameters. Featuring downdraft cooking tables with manifolded exhaust ductwork in each knee wall and up through various vertical pilasters, A full kitchen with new water and mechanical head end equipment.
Natural materials were incorporated such as polished concrete, wood veneer bulkheads, back light quartz to simulate alabaster; reclaimed barn wood slats, mix of acoustical materials were provided along with a heavy timber bar canopy trellis and wall aesthetic; creating a cloistered yet semi-transparent views to the open dining area beyond.

A combination Greek bakery and coffee shop located in the heart of the Castle Shannon's primary shopping district served as an anchor for a borough's latest revitalization. A 2,400 square foot renovation included complete demolition of the existing 1,200 s.f. upper floor into a full service bakery, servery and dining space; along with a renovation of the 1,200 s.f. basement into a support area for walk in cooler, storage and owners front flex shell space for 3rd party rentals. The cafe features bright colors, patterns, and owner commission artwork reminiscent of Greece. The front counters and food service equipment were provided from a greek food service vendor, along with salvaged local furniture for an eclectic European feel. Overhead rolling garage doors at the front and side allow cooling breezes and light to flow across those patrons enjoying delicious greek pasteries and coffee.
Rich palette of patterned tile and painted millwork display cases provide areas of display an impulse purchases. Quartz counters and oversized glass display cases visually tie the market and cafe point of sales together while offering a stain resistant surfaces. Polished concrete flow through both spaces creating a low maintenance yet reflective and clean surface.

A combination Indian market, café and kitchen, located in the heart of the Cranberry Mall, Cranberry PA. A 5,500 square foot renovation included complete demolition of the existing space, new café, café seating incorporated into the market for seamless shopping experience. Outdoor seating is facilitated by a new vertical rising garage door. Full service kitchen, walk in coolers, freezers is provided with a dedicated exhaust system for odor control.
Rich palette of reclaimed lumber is used as an economical wall cladding at the servery and café knee walls. Quartz counters visually tie the market and cafe point of sales together while offering a stain resistant surface to turmeric, a popular and frequently used spice in Indian cuisine. Polished and stained concrete flow through both spaces creating a low maintenance yet reflective and clean surface which flows through both spaces. Custom over scaled stenciling exist at various painted accent walls as an inexpensive touch.
